Свій внесок у «срібний» успіх української жіночої збірної зробила і студентка І курсу Марія Лівач, яка у ваговій категорії до 48 кг посіла 5 місце. У ½ фіналу Марія поступилася майбутній чемпіонці Фуюко Мімурі. На 5 місці і цьогорічна випускниця відділення вільної боротьби УФК Оксана Ващук. На 5 місці і минулорічна випускниця Ірина Нетреба (в/к до 63 кг). у півфіналі Ірина поступилася шведці Ханні Йохансон, яка також стала чемпіонкою.
